Having lived for nearly 20 years in Snowdonia, Lauraine and Simon have visited most of the attractions in the area.

Penmachno itself is privileged in the fact that it has two National Trust Properties, Ty Mawr and Ty'n-y-Coed Uchaf.
Ty Coch riding stables is situated in the forested hills behind Penmachno Hall.
